A safe and secure environment for the citizens is the goal of Karnataka state police which calls for professionalism and efficiency. It is a matter of pride that the Karnataka State Police is a well disciplined and focused organization that has continuously acquitted itself with credit.
To achieve its objective the police needs to be professional and responsive to the needs of the public. It should be well equipped to combat any eventualities and to achieve this they need to be well trained in all aspects of policing and use of latest arms and ammunitions. The morale of the police force is a critical component of policing and requires to be well addressed. The department has devised policies that address these issues in a continuous manner.
The state police is working towards strengthening internal and coastal security apart from addressing the changing contours of crime. Adaption to technology has significantly assisted in combating cyber-crime. The force is sensitized towards human rights, gender related crimes and cultivation of more people friendly approach to policing.
An efficient complaint and grievance redressal mechanism and a better community connect ensures that we have a better intelligence on crime and can expedite the process of solving crimes. Karnataka police has undertaken several initiatives in this direction and more plans are on the anvil. Government has been supporting the department through manpower and financial support.

The magazine is published in the states of Maharashtra, Bihar, West Bengal and for the CRPF through its print and web versions has been appreciated for its informative content.
