Greetings from Bengaluru City Police,
I am pleased to present to the readers the inaugural issue of Protector magazine. Protector has been widely acknowledged for its informative content in the states of Maharashtra, West Bengal, Bihar and more recently CRPF. Protector magazine has been consistent in its efforts in highlighting the laudable work done by the police and has served as an effective vehicle in bridging the gap between the police and the public.
Police community interfaces go a long way in ensuring success of new initiatives started by police. It’s important that we support the police in its endeavours. The Bengaluru City Police has been making consistent efforts in associating itself with the communities. The use of Social Media, awareness drives on traffic rules, women safety, cyber safety against private buses and tempos have been successful in a great measure in educating the communities. These efforts bring the police and the communities closer and is reassuring for the public. Our Social Media wing is remarkable tool for community connect and pioneer in the police forces of the country.
Protector magazine has played a significant role in promoting this policepublic partnership and I am sure they will continue to foster it through enriching and informative content. I take this opportunity to appeal to the readers to contribute inspiring articles or valuable news that could be published in the magazine.
Wish you all a Happy New Year
Praveen Sood
Commissioner of Police, Bengaluru City
