The much awaited 43rd edition of Konkan Range Police Games 2016 was organized at Kalamboli Parade Ground on November 9, 2016. The event witnessed the participation of police officials from various police stations of Konkan Range. The games were graced with the presence of Anil Diggikar (IAS), chairman of Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT), Hemant Nagrale, commissioner of police -Navi Mumbai, Prashant Burde, IG of Konkan Range police and Sharda Raut, SP of Palghar Police.
The event was also attended by the families of senior police officials. The event started with the National Anthem, and then oaths by the athletes marked the opening of the games. Of the 678 officials who participated in the games, fifteen participants were senior police officials from all over Konkan Range. Various sports like football, volleyball, basketball, athletics, kabbadi and cricket were organized for both men and women for which the competing teams were vying for. A photo feature……………….
